Is this real? An airline built around your dog's travel experience? Yes, it's real! BARK Air is the world's first doggie jet service, launching on Thursday, May 23, 2024. It will become the first carrier designed specifically for dogs, and people are going barking mad over the newest travel opportunities this airline will provide.

As you can imagine, exclusive Dog Airlines is sparking a lot of interest and is set to make a ton of money! People who have to travel a lot or want a safer flight option with their four-legged best friend are lining up to book flights. However, access to charter these special jets will be a bit limited, at least for now.

According to Simple Flying, BARK Air will only be flying out of select terminals. The first doggie flight will debut in the friendly skies, leaving out of Westchester County Airport in White Planes, New York. Other routes will serve Los Angeles via Van Nuys (VNY) and London via Stansted Airport (STN), according to Simple Flying. Why did this take so long? Cost may have a lot to do with it!

I'll get to that in a moment, but first, BARK Air's Motto is - " We’re here to revolutionize flying for dogs. It's a 100% real airline for dogs." Here is what they do!

Can you believe this? The BARK Air CEO, Matt Meeker, explained the vision of his company.

When we started BARK in 2011, we were on a mission to disrupt the dog space and create products designed for dogs and their humans. We are excited to take the insights we’ve learned over the years to create an experience that is genuinely dog-first, which is drastically different from just accepting dogs – from the ground to the skies."

He went on to say, "We believe this initiative will elevate awareness of our brand’s mission and values, introduce more dog lovers to the BARK family, and help enrich the lives of dogs and their people worldwide."

BARK Air is rolling out the white paw experience, as every flight comes with you're dog's concierge! They will serve beverages such as water, bone broth, and drinks to onboard dogs. They have plenty of calming treats, plus leashes, poop bags, and various BARK-branded merch, treats, snacks, and more.

For all that, you can bet this luxury comes with a serious price tag! According to FOX10 BARK Air, round-trip tickets for one pet and owner could cost as much as $16,000! Yea. That part! For more info, go to happy@dogsflyfirst.com or call 855- DOGS-FLY ( 855-364-7359 )

BARK Air is the only full-fledged airline built exclusively around dogs' comfort, but other charter jet companies fly dogs and their human companions.
