Plane Carrying Dogs from Louisiana Shelters Makes Emergency Landing in Wisconsin
What a scary scene.
A small plane carrying three people and several dogs from Louisiana had to make an emergency landing on a golf course in Wisconsin.
Reports indicate that everyone on board is OK and that there were no fatalities in the rough landing.
As you can see here, weather conditions in Wisconsin at the time of the emergency landing were not ideal.
The dogs being transported were coming from shelters in New Orleans and were being brought to shelters in Wisconsin. No dogs were injured in the landing.
Lake Country Fire and Rescue Assistant Chief Matthew Haerter says that the plane made a rough landing after it hit trees and lost its wings.
An estimated 300 gallons of fuel spilled in the crash landing.
