It's official. Former Tampa Bay quarterback, Jameis Winston, who was Tampa's #1 draft pick in 2015, is headed to the Big Easy.

Winston exited the bay area after Tampa signed Tom Brady this off season from New England. It is being reported that Jameis Winston has signed a one-year deal with the New Orleans Saints.

During Winston's final season with the Bucs, he threw for 5,109 passing yards in 2019. Unfortunately, he threw for 30 touchdown passes and 30 interceptions in the same season which made him the first player in NFL history to do that. Not a flattering stat.

Winston's roll will be to split backup QB duties with Taysom Hill who just recently signed a two-year contract extension with the club worth $21 million. Both will serve as backup quarterbacks for Drew Brees.
