Jamey Johnson Returns To Lake Charles in June
As we turn the page on the calendar to June 2025, the first country concert of the month is heading your way this weekend in Lake Charles. There are a bunch of great country music artists heading to Southwest Louisiana this Summer.
Ashley McBryde, Randall King, Casey Donahew, Pat Green, and Larry Fleet are all set to perform this Summer at the Golden Nugget's Grand Event Center in Lake Charles. First up, however, is this Saturday night, June 7, when Jamey Johnson returns to the lake area for a big show.
Jamey Johnson proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for four years in the US Marines, before he descended on Nashville to become a songwriter. Jamey has written a bunch of songs that you are familiar with before he started releasing his music.

Did you know that Jamey Johnson wrote the hits Give It Away by George Strait, the Honky Tonk Badonkadonk, and Lady's Love Country Boys all released by Trace Adkins. Here is Jamey Johnson performing the song Give It Away with Lee Ann Womack in front of George Strait, who recorded the song.
Jamey then started his solo career and released his music. Jamey has released some great songs that his superfans consider some of his best, like The Dollar, Between Jennings and Jones, High Cost Of Living, Mowin' Down The Roses, Cold Beer, and The Day Hank Jr Came To Town.
Now, his biggest hit to date is the massively popular song In Color. Here is the official video for that song.
Jamey Johnson will be live Saturday night, June 7, 2025, at the Golden Nugget's Grand Event Center and will hit the stage starting at 8:00 pm. Want to see if they still have tickets? Check here.
