Lake Charles, LA [KNGT-FM] - Summer has officially arrived in Southwest Louisiana, and one of the area’s fastest-growing family destinations is getting ready to celebrate in a big way.

Located on Luke Powers Road, Jellystone Park has quickly become much more than a traditional campground. Since it officially opened last Summer, the resort has transformed into one of Southwest Louisiana’s premier summer getaway spots for families, campers, RV travelers, and music lovers alike.

Resort officials are also adding a brand-new bar area near the pavilion to enhance the live music experience for concertgoers this summer.

Throughout the summer months, the resort hosts concerts featuring popular Louisiana artists performing everything from Cajun and Zydeco to country and Swamp Pop music.

This weekend, the spotlight turns to Ryan Foret & Foret Tradition, one of Louisiana’s most recognized Swamp Pop acts. The band will take the stage under the pavilion at Jellystone RV park on Saturday night, May 30, beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Fans can expect an evening filled with classic Louisiana's biggest Swamp Pop songs sung by one of the best voices in Louisiana. If you are not camping at the park, you can still attend the concerts.
