Jennings Bulldogs Play For 3-A Football State Championship Tonight

The Jennings Bulldogs are in New Orleans and are getting ready to play for the 3-A Football State Championship tonight in the Superdome.

The Bulldogs finished the 2019 season with a record of 5-5 and squeaked into the playoffs.  But like they say it doesn't matter how you get into the playoffs, just get there and a whole new season begins.

For the Jennings Bulldogs that can't be more true.  Once they made it into the 3-A playoffs as the #23 seed they have been running thru the bracket downing some really good teams.

They beat the #10 seed Carroll, #7 Church Point, #2 Sterlington, and #6 McDonough #35 to make it to the championship game.

They will face the #1 seeded St. James tonight at 7pm for the 3-A state championship.  Good luck to the Bulldogs!  Bring the trophy back to Southwest Louisiana.
