Country music icon John Michael Montgomery is returning to Lake Charles for a big show in May of 2022.

John Michael Montgomery, who is 57 years old, has been touring all over the United States and will make his stop in Southwest Louisiana to perform all of his biggest hits.

John Michael Montgomery burst onto the national country music scene back in 1991 and released his first single Life's A Dance on the Warner Brothers Nashville record label in 1992.

Since then, John Michael Montgomery has racked up seven number-one singles in his career. Tunes like I Love The Way You Love Me, Be My Baby Tonight, I Can Love you Like That, Sold (The Grundy County Auction Incident), and The Little Girl just to name a few. 

During his career, John Michael Montgomery has released 11 studio albums and 36 singles to his credit, and as we mentioned above, seven of those going to #1.

The country crooner is from Danville, Kentucky, and is the brother of Eddie Montgomery  (pictured below) who is one part of the country duo Montgomery Gentry.  In 2008, Montgomery founded his own label, Stringtown Records, and released an album called Time Flies that year.

John Michael Montgomery will be live at the Golden Nugget Casino in Lake Charles on Friday, May 13th, 2022, and will hit the stage at 8:30 pm that night.
