John Schneider Remarries 17 Months After Wife Alicia's Death

Actor John Schneider announced that he has remarried. John Schneider got on social media to make the announcement yesterday. Schneider known for his role as Bo Duke on the Dukes Of Hazard announced that he found love again just 17 months after he lost his wife Alicia to cancer.

John Schneider married Dee Dee Sorvino, the widow of the late actor Paul Sorvino who is best known for his role as a mob boss in Goodfellas. Both John Schneider and Dee Dee Sorvino lost their spouses within the last two years.

John Schneider announced on his Facebook page saying,

Big news big news everybody!
DeeDee and I got hitched last night in Vegas!
Those of you who’ve been riding shotgun with me this last year and a half or so can understand that I never dreamed that happiness would be possible again.
I’m here to tell you that you are stronger than you think!
And those folks who have “gone on ahead” are absolutely not only watching from above…
but giving us the necessary small nudge…
and the occasional kick in the butt to do the right things!
I honestly never thought I would ever laugh again… and now I laugh all the time!

John Schneider currently calls Holden, Louisiana his home. There is no word on whether the couple will live back in Louisiana. But we are happy for the couple as they found love again after both suffered heartbreaking losses the last couple of years.
