The annual Louisiana Pirate Festival is coming your way starting this week and weekend as they start their two-week run here in Lake Charles. The festival has been a staple in Lake Charles for decades now and it's back.

The live music gets underway this Friday night, May 5th with the Honky Tonk Mexican, Johnny Jimenez. there will also be live music on Saturday night.

They have a bunch of events set up for this weekend like the pirates making folks walk the plank, carnival rides, food galley alley, crawfish eating contests, and several walking pirate parades. There is also a ton of live music set for this weekend.

7:00 pm --- Pirates make Lake Charles City Officials Walk The Plank

5:30 pm -- Young Band Nation

7:00 pm to 9:00 pm -- Boomerang

9:00 pm to 11:00 pm --- Steel Shot

All this is happening just this weekend. The festival will also get underway next week as well on Friday, May 12 with live music from artists like The Charlie Wayne Band, Jeannie Lane, Gypsy La Blue, The Adam Leger Band, and a big fireworks display.
