Closed since Hurricane Laura, Mac's Crawfish has announced its return to the world of Honky Tonkin' and great food. It's a tradition on Sundays to venture out to the parking lot of Mac's Crawfish and enjoy some beverages and food, all while listening to live music outside.

This coming Sunday is no exception. Mac's Crawfish welcomes SWLA's very own Johnny Jimenez to the parking lot stage. Jimenez has become a local country music celebrity with a tight following of fans and supporters.

In years past, the Jimenez fans have followed the Honky Tonk Mexican all over SWLA and even into SETX. They have brought horses into venues and have even made it a point to drink any venue they show up to dry. It's not very uncommon to see bar owners where Jimenez is playing making last minute beer runs to keep the crowd from going thirsty.

You can see him for yourself free this Sunday at Mac's Crawfish next to Mary's Lounge on Broad Street in Lake Charles. The band starts around 6:00pm according to Jimenez, but go early and catch some food and a spot to dance.
