Just Announced: Cody Johnson Headed To New Orleans In May 2024

The announcement has been made that country sensation Cody Johnson has added some new dates to his upcoming 2024 tour and New Orleans is one of those stops. CoJo as he is affectionately called by his fans is launching a new tour called The Leather Tour.

Cody Johnson is a special kind of artist. He didn't pack his bags and move straight to Nashville in hopes of getting a record deal. He did it grassroots style as he was known as a Texas Country artist way before he scored his deal in Nashville.

Cody worked the Texas circuit and released six albums on his own with one of them landing at number two on the country music charts which caught the attention of Nashville. Cody Johnson had a massive following in the Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana areas of the country when he toured as an independent artist.

Nashville came calling and in 2019 CoJo released his first major-label album, Ain't Nothin' to It, in January 2019. He released his second major-label album, Human: The Double Album, in October 2021.

Cody is known for hit songs like Dance Her Home, With You I Am, On My Way To You, Till You Can't, Human, and his latest single The Painter. You will hear all these songs when you see him in New Orleans next year.

Yesterday, CoJo announced that his The Leather Tour will be making a stop in New Orleans and will be playing inside the Smoothie King Center on May 31st, 2024. Cody is bringing his buddies, Chris Janson and Drake Milligan.
