Lainey Wilson Concert In Lake Charles Has Been Rescheduled
Country music rising star Lainey Wilson was scheduled to perform in Lake Charles on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at the Golden Nugget in Lake Charles.
The news was announced that the Lainey Wilson show is now having to be moved. The Golden Nugget made the announcement on its website. Here is what they had to say.
Due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts, the Lainey Wilson show originally scheduled for February 11th has been moved to September 2nd. All tickets will be honored for the new date.
Lainey Wilson has exploded in the country music world in the past year. Wilson was born here in the bayou state. She is a native of Baskin, Louisiana which is located in the upper Northeast part of Louisiana.
You may think Lainey is a newcomer to the country music world but that is not the case. She actually moved to Nashville in 2011. In 2016 she hooked up with Frank Foster and released her first album on the lone Chief record label which is Frank Foster's label he founded.
In 2018, she signed a publishing deal with Sony and also signed a management deal. In 2021 she won the New Artist of the year and song of the year from the Academy of country music awards (ACMs). Then in 2022, she won CMA's New artist of the year and Female Vocalist Of The Year.
She is known for her song Things A Man Outta Know and her current single Heart Like A Truck. She also did a duet with Cole Swindell called Never Say Never and also a current single with Hardy called Wait In The Truck.
Like the press release said, if you had tickets for the February 11 concert, they will be honored when the show takes place on September 2, 2023.
