SWLA High School Football Coming Back On The Radio

Townsquare Media Lake Charles and 92.9 The Lake are excited to announce that we will be bringing high school sports broadcasting back to the airwaves! Each week during the football season, we will broadcast a different matchup that features teams here in Southwest Louisiana! We will also strive to do the same for Basketball, Baseball, and Softball!

We will begin broadcasting high school sports starting this Fall with a Southwest Louisiana Game of the Week. You can now catch Football action all throughout the weekend on 92.9 The Lake. Catch Friday Night Lights on Fridays and McNeese Football on Saturdays!

Our Broadcast Team will consist of Chaston Tavares and Patrick Frey. Both Patrick and Chaston have years of experience calling sporting events. Chaston has called sports for the last 7 years in Vernon Parish calling various teams throughout the three-parish area. Patrick is a SWLA Native and has broadcast games for multiple different schools here in the SWLA area.
