Get your western gear out and get ready for exciting rodeo action this weekend at the Burton Complex in Lake Charles. This year marks the rodeo’s 13th anniversary, and the excitement is bigger than ever.
Doors open at 6:00 p.m., and the action starts at 7:30 p.m. Fans can expect an evening full of thrills, competition, and western fun as professional cowboys and cowgirls show off their skills in events like steer wrestling, bronc riding, and calf roping.
There's plenty of action for everyone. The rodeo will feature ladies’ barrel racing, ladies’ steer undecorating, team roping, and even junior barrel racing for kids. Of course, no rodeo is complete without the biggest event of them all: bull riding.
