Men Wear Pink 2026 Wing Cook-Off Announced in Lake Charles

Lake Charles, LA [KNGT-FM] - Local leaders, businesses, and community members are being invited to join the fight against breast cancer at the Men Wear Pink 2026 Wing Cook-Off on Saturday, Sept. 19, at the Habibi Shrine Center, 2928 Pack Road in Lake Charles.

The event, part of the American Cancer Society’s Men Wear Pink campaign, will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Teams can begin competing at 9 a.m., with judging scheduled for 2 p.m.

Last year, the cook-off was a huge success and was a fun afternoon of fellowship, great food, and fun.

Organizers say the fundraiser is designed to bring the community together while supporting breast cancer research, education, and patient support programs. Participants can get involved by making a financial or in-kind donation, sponsoring a team for $100, or entering their own team for a $100 fee, with wings provided.
