Lake Charles, La [KNGT-FM] - Christmas is only a few days away, and most of you will be off from work. Family and friends will be coming in to celebrate the holiday, but after all the presents have been unwrapped and the food has been eaten, you may be looking for somewhere to go to take your guests.

We took a look around and found things that are going on in the lake area starting Christmas night and rolling through the weekend, and made you a list. Here's what's happening.

Johnny Jimenez is back in town for the holidays and will be playing at several places across the lake area starting on Christmas night. Here is his schedule.

• Thursday, Dec. 25 -- Linda's Lounge on Lake Street in Lake Charles, starting at 9:00 pm

• Friday, Dec. 26 -- Chaser's Bar & Grill on the corner of Lake Street & University Drive in Lake Charles, starting at 8:00 pm.

• Saturday, Dec. 27 -- The Wharf Bar & Grill, located on Ryan Street in Lake Charles, starting at 9:00 pm.

A local favorite band, Three Thirty Seven, will be live at the Blue Martini, which is located inside the Golden Nugget in Lake Charles. The band is set to play both Friday and Saturday night. They will play from 8:00 pm to Midnight both evenings.

Ron Saxy Richard will be live at the L Bar inside of L'Auberge Casino Resort in Lake Charles on Friday and Saturday night, performing a variety of music. Ron will hit the stage at 8:00 pm both nights and play until.
