In the Lake Charles and Southwest Louisiana area, we are always happy to see new businesses open and flourish in the area. We love to see the new businesses and restaurants come to the area.

On the other hand, we are sad to see when a locally-owned business or restaurant closes its doors. Another local business in Southwest Louisiana has announced that they have closed its doors. We here in Southwest Louisiana always pride ourselves in supporting locally-owned businesses and restaurants and hate to see when one closes.

Le Macaron Lake Charles location at 2020 Country Club Rd Ste 120 announced on Facebook that they would shut the doors at its South Lake Charles location. They made the announcement back on October 10th, 2023. Here is what they said,

It is with sincere regret that we inform our community that LeMacaron Lake Charles will close permanently in the next couple weeks. Unfortunately, due to the current financial climate we can no longer run our day to day operations. More details and a blow out sale to come.

Per their Facebook post, the last day of operation for the business was on October 19th, before the doors closed at the Country Club Road location. With sad news also comes some good news.

Le Macaron's other location inside of the Prien Lake Mall in Lake Charles will remain open according to the business's Facebook post. They said,

Dear Le Macaron Lovers,
While we'll be saying au revoir to our cafe location, we're thrilled to announce that our sweet journey continues at Prien Lake Mall!
So whether you're in the mood for our signature macarons, delightful pastries, or luxurious chocolates, you'll still be able to find us at the mall.
Thank you for your continued support, and we can't wait to welcome you in our mall location with open arms.
