Gumbeaux Gators Offering Free Admission for One Night Only This Week

Lake Charles, Louisiana (KNGT-FM) - The Gumbeaux Gators' second season here in Lake Charles is coming to an end, and you've only got a few more chances to check out the team. This weekend, the Gators are offering FREE ADMISSION, and we've got everything you need to know!

The Gumbeaux Gators are in their second season here in Lake Charles, and they are a member of the Texas Collegiate League. This year's team features a ton of local kids here from Southwest Louisiana. Summer ball can be tricky because a lot of the playing time and pitches that a pitcher can throw are mostly dictated by the coaches of the college that each specific kid goes to.

For example, if Justin Hill at McNeese only wants (x) pitcher to throw 25 innings during summer ball, then after the player throws those innings, most of the time they will head home. That is why you will see some roster turnover throughout the summer season.

The Gators will also be in action here in Lake Charles on Wednesday, and fans will have the chance to take home a FREE Foam Finger courtesy of B1 Bank. (NOT FREE ADMISSION)

Fans will be able to catch FREE Lake Charles Gumbeaux Gators baseball this FRIDAY NIGHT courtesy of Chick-fil-A. Friday Night will also be Host Family Night & Christmas in July.

With the Christmas in July event, the holiday season will be in full effect as they will have Santa and Mrs. Claus on site to take photos and more. They will also play Christmas-themed music in the ballpark. Might as well head out to the ballpark in your PJs!
