Gumbeaux Gators Open Season Tuesday Night with Free Admission

Lake Charles, Louisiana (KNGT-FM) - Summer baseball fun is set to return to Lake Charles this week as the Lake Charles Gumbeaux Gators are ready to begin their 2nd season in the Texas Collegiate League!

The Lake Charles Gumbeaux Gators joined the Texas Collegiate League in 2024 and have already made a splash in Southwest Louisiana. With players from Division I, II, III, and junior colleges, the team features top talent from across the country and brings exciting baseball action to the Lake Area.

Gumbeaux Gators

The Lake Charles Gumbeaux Gators will begin their season on Tuesday Night with a matchup against in-state rival the Acadiana Cane Cutters. Just something about Lake Charles and Lafayette rivalries. The game will get started at 7:00 and will be held at McNeese's Joe Miller Ballpark. All of the Gators' home games will be at McNeese this season.

The game that is on Wednesday will also be FREE Admission, the club announced.
