This morning we gave you the chance to be the first to hear the new song from Bou Boyz country music recording artist Jordan Emery featuring platinum country music recording artist Neal McCoy.

We just interviewed Jordan and Neal about the song and how it came about. Jordan told us that the song was written at Ronnie Fruge’s house over a pot of coffee in 2020. Ronnie and Jordan were talking about relationships and hit songwriter and producer Randy Boudreaux was tuning in to the conversation and it inspired him to pick up the guitar and start the song. Not an hour after the collaboration (Let’s Fix This) was finished.

Within a year of the song being written Jordan Emery recorded the song and planned on releasing the song shortly after but that wasn’t God’s plan. Through a seed that God planted in Jordan Emery, the song was more than just a man & woman turning back to God to save their relationship, it was about America turning back to God to Save our Great Country! Jordan immediately contacted Matt Moss Music Studio in Lake Charles a long-time colleague of Bou Boy’z Entertainment & booked the studio time to sing the new version of the song.

After completing the new version Jordan had a chill run through his body and immediately had the thought to say the pledge of allegiance at the end of the song. After saying the pledge at the end of the song one time it was like it was meant to be there. Randy Boudreaux immediately contacted Chris Lognion with Media Post film and video. Jordan & Randy headed to Chris’s office. After hearing the song Chris looked at Jordan and Randy and said I have chills I’m all in. Chris said if we can get the video shot within the next week or so I can make It happen but my schedule is booked up after next week.

Jordan & Randy immediately started putting their heads together and brainstorming locations and ppl to be a part of the video. Every morning, country musician Neal McCoy grabs his phone, opens up the Facebook app, and starts a live video stream, inviting thousands of fans to say the Pledge of Allegiance with him.

Jordan Emery has also posted daily prayers for many years a practice he started to put God's word & positivity out into the social media world. After Jordan posted his daily prayer he went to his news feed and there was Platinum Country Artist Neal McCoy saying the pledge like he’s done every day for almost 9 years. This time it hit Jordan differently. Jordan immediately called Randy and said I truly believe Neal McCoy is the one God wants to say the pledge of allegiance at the end of the song. Randy was a writer of one of Neal’s hit songs The Girls of Summer.

Randy contacted Neal's road manager Les Martinez and told him about the song and the meaning behind it. Les said email me the song and I’ll get it to Neal. Not 30 minutes later Neal called Randy and Jordan & said he would love to be a part of the song. While on tour Neal recorded the pledge audio and a video to use in the music video.
