Lake Charles ‘Nashville Nights’ Concert to Help Give Cancer the Boot
🐊 KNGT 🐊 | Lake Charles, LA — Hey Buckaroos! If you know me, then you know I love to support good folks fighting cancer right here in Southwest Louisiana. We’ve got some of the biggest hearts in the world down here, and some of the best boots too!
I’m super excited that Southwest Louisiana now has its very own Cattle Barons Ball. Don’t worry, we’ll talk more about that big shindig later. But today, I want to tell you about a really cool event that’s gonna help get things rollin’ for the big ball.
Let me introduce you to my buddy Josh Smith and his awesome event called Nashville Nights — Give Cancer the Boot. Now that’s a name I can get behind! It’s happening this Saturday night right here in Lake Charles at the Southlake Theater.
This isn’t just any ol’ concert. It’s a good ol’ country concert mixed with a fundraiser. So you can clap your hands, stomp your boots, and help kick cancer in the behind, all at the same time!
This night is extra special because it helps the American Cancer Society and also our amazing Theater Director, Taylor Trahan. Who is currently battling Breast Cancer and we want to show our support to her.
And you know I love live music! We’ve got my favorite girl Dani Lacour performing, plus the super talented Brooks Drost, and the main act will be the one and only Val Storey! So you better bring your dancing boots because you’re gonna need ‘em!
The theme for this event is “Western Chic.” So grab your cowboy hat, your shinny boots and maybe that special shirt you only wear for special occasions.
Tickets are selling fast, so get them before there sold out! Get your tickets HERE.
So come on y’all, let’s give cancer the boot and have a boot-scootin’ good time!
