Lake Charles Native Jace Peterson’s Kids Throw Out First Pitch on Father’s Day
The Big League days just keep getting better for Lake Charles Native Jace Peterson!
Father's Day was celebrated across the world on Sunday and Lake Charles Native Jace Peterson was able to have a special celebration as his wife and kids were able to join him for an incredible day as the Oakland A's hosted the Philadelphia Phillies.
Jace Peterson currently plays for the Oakland Athletics and is a Lake Charles Native. Peterson had played for the Brewers, Orioles, Yankees, Braves, and Padres since getting drafted back in 2011 with the 58th overall pick in the supplemental first round of the Major League Draft.
Just a few weeks back, Jace had a career night going 5-5 with a pair of home runs in a huge victory for the A's. Victories have been hard to come by for the Athletics as they sport just a 19-55 overall record in 2023.
The A's and Jace Peterson got a win off the field before the game on Sunday as a special moment was shared between Jace and his two daughters on Father's Day. The Oakland Athletic allowed Jace's two daughters to throw out the first pitch to their dad.
During Jace's at-bat on Sunday, the A's allowed the girls to announce their dad over the PA speakers at the stadium!
I'm not sure anything could compare to these Father's Day memories for the Lake Charles native.
