The city of Lake Charles is teaming up with the Prien Lake Mall and holding a Lake Charles Recovery Expo on four different days. The focus of the expo is to get residents in touch with all the different resources people need to utilize as we all try to keep the recovery going.

Between the two hurricanes, an ice storm, and now a historic flood, folks in the area need more help and resources than ever. The Lake Charles recovery expo will take place on the weekends of June 5-6 and 12-13 in the Prien Lake Mall parking lot on West Prien Lake Road in Lake Charles.

On June 5 and 12 (Saturdays), the expo will run from 1:00pm to 4:00pm while on June 6 and 13 (Sundays), it will take place from noon until 3:00pm.

The expo will have:

  • Law Firms
  • FEMA Reps
  • State Officials
  • Water Restoration
  • Contractors
  • Public Adjusters
  • Tree Removal Companies

According to officials with the expo, they explained all participating companies will be vetted. So if you have questions or just need some help with recovery, this is the place to be.
