Complete Guide to the 2025 LHSAA Baseball State Tournament

Lake Charles, Louisiana (KNGT-FM) - With the season winding to a close, that can only mean one thing... It's time to crown some CHAMPIONS! The 2025 Louisiana High School Athletics Association Baseball State Tournament will be held this week in Sulphur, and we have everything you need to know about the event.

The playoffs looked a little different this year, especially for the bigger schools. All semifinal series were played ON CAMPUS, with the State Championship games taking place at McMurry Park in Sulphur. Plus, for the larger schools, the State Championship series will now be a best-of-three format. Now, for the smaller schools, they will still play the Semifinals and Championship Game in Sulphur, but one slight change is that they will be back-to-back days.

ABOUT THE 2025 LHSAA BASEBALL STATE TOURNAMENT

McMurry Park has been home to the Louisiana Games Baseball Tournament and the Dixie Boys Super World Series for 13 and 13/14-year-olds. The facility also hosted the United States Women's Olympic Team on their exhibition tour in preparation for the 2008 Beijing Olympics and drew the largest crowd in Louisiana softball game history.

The five-day event will take place at McMurry Park in Sulphur. Tuesday, May 12th through Saturday, May 17th.
