LHSAA Releases Redistricting Plan For Local SWLA Teams For 2024-2026 Cycle

During the Louisiana High School Athletic Association's Winter Executive Committee meeting on Wednesday, the committee heard proposals and appeals for districts for the upcoming 2024-2026 cycle.

Only three schools appeared before the committee to appeal their placement according to Hunter Bower with GeauxPreps.com.

Bunkie, looking to relocate from a central Louisiana district, expressed a desire to join an Acadiana area-based district. On the other hand, Springfield proposed a unique five-team district, aiming to include Livingston Parish teams Doyle and Albany, along with Parkview Baptist and Collegiate Baton Rouge.
