Country music has existed for decades, and it seems that every decade brings a new sound. Are you a classic country kind of person, like the '60s, '70s, and '80s country? Or are you more of a straight-up 90s country kid?

Some say that the 90s country is the best decade ever in country music. If this is your jam, get ready because this weekend in Lake Charles, the 90s supergroup Little Texas is coming to the Southwest Louisiana area.

Little Texas was formed in 1988 in Nashville, Tennessee with its founding members Tim Rushlow, Brady Seals, Porter Howell, Dwayne O'Brien, Del Gray, and Duane Propes. It took only three short years before the band scored its first record deal with Warner Brothers Records and they were off.

The band's first single was called Some Guys Have All the Love which peaked inside the top 10 on the charts which is not bad for a debut single. The band followed that up with monster hits like What Might Have Been, You and Forever and Me, God Bless Texas, My Love, Kick A Little, Amy's Back In Austin, and so many more.

Here is one of their biggest hits, What Might Have Been.

Little Texas will be making a stop in Lake Charles, Louisiana this Saturday, February 22, 2025, and will be live at L'auberge Casino Resort. The show is scheduled to start at 8:00 pm. You must be 21 or older to attend the show.

There may be some tickets for the show left. You can check out availability by going to this link here. Here is the link to buy yours now. Get ready to enjoy a night of 90s country with Little Texas.
