The city of Lake Charles is putting on a three week concert series called "Live At The Lakefront" by the Lake Charles Civic Center at the lakefront promenade’s Arcade amphitheater.

This three week concert series is open to the public and to all ages.  All three weeks performances are from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. for the next three Friday nights. It is put on by the Arts Council of Southwest Louisiana and the City of Lake Charles.

The lineup tonight includes the band Royal Teeth and opening up for them will be two local bands from Lake Charles which are The Von Dukes and The Watchers.

The schedule for the next two weeks of Live At The Lakefront include:

Friday, March 18th, 2016

  • Featuring Chris Miller and Bayou Roots 
  • The Doghill Stompers Opener

Friday March 25th, 2016

  • Featuring The Flamethrowers
  • Sweet Crude and Thomas & Theresa as the openers

Every Friday night they will have a a local art market, food trucks and food booths.  They will also have beverages for sale but ice chests are not allowed.  So bring you some chairs and enjoy some live music under the stars the next three weeks at Live at the Lakefront!
