This has been one heck of a week here in Southwest Louisiana, with freezing temperatures, snow, power outages, and no water supply. Mother Nature has forced all of us to stay inside and stay warm while conserving water and power or dealing with not having any utilities at all.

However, there is good news for Southwest Louisiana because the forecast  for this weekend is calling for sunny skies and warmer temperatures that should melt off the remaining ice and snow in the area.

With most of us being locked down all week and not going to work and the kids not going to school, we sure could use a night out to blow off some steam. Well, we have you covered with our weekly schedule of live music in the Southwest Louisiana area.

Here is the schedule for this weekend starting tonight Friday, February 19 and running through Sunday, February 21.

Beauxdines located on Ryan Street just north of Prien Lake Road will have Jason Stutes on Friday night and Ashton Dupree on Saturday night. Both artists start at 6:00pm.

Wayne's in South Sulphur on Hwy. 27 will have Chris Hantz, Johnny Jiminez, Charlie Wayne, and Casey Peveto for the Kaven Benefit. Music and food start at 1:00pm on Saturday afternoon.

Country artist Brad Brinkley, who just released a new single, will be playing Saturday at Los Ponchos on Hwy. 397 in east Lake Charles and then playing at Mac's Crawfish on East Broad Street in Lake Charles Sunday at 4:00pm.

The Golden Nugget's Blue Martini will have the Mo Jiles band both Friday and Saturday  live on the patio from 7:00pm to 11:00pm.
