Louisiana Casino Nominated For Academy Of Country Music Award

For the second straight year. a Louisiana casino has been nominated for an Academy Of Country Music award. The casino we are talking about is the Golden Nugget Casino Resort in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

The Golden Nugget opened up in Lake Charles in 2015 and since the start, they are known for their legendary concerts. They are nominated in the Casino-arena category with four other venues across America.

They are nominated along with the Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena in Atlantic City, New Jersey, Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in St. Louis, Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, and the Mystic Lake Casino Showroom in Prior Lake, Minnesota.

Just some of the big names in Country Music they have had in the past in concert include Diamond Rio, Mark Chesnutt, Carly Pearce, Tanya Tucker, Pat Green, Ronnie Milsap, Craig Morgan, Lonestar, Sammy Kershaw, Gary LaVox of Rascal Flatts, Chris Cagle, and Lainey Wilson.

They also have more than country concerts at the Golden Nugget. This year the Golden Nugget will welcome Melissa Ethridge, Little River Band, Rick Springfield, Richard Marx, Kenny Wayne Shepard, Air Supply, Michael Bolton, and more.

On tap on the countryside for 2024 include Casey Danohue Band, Sammy Kershaw, Pam Tillis, Lorrie Morgan, Mark Chesnutt, Pat Green, and more to be added.

The 2024 Academy Of Country Music Awards will take place on Thursday, May 16th, 2024 from Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, the headquarters of the Dallas Cowboys. All the winners will be announced including the Casino-arena category that the Golden Nugget is nominated for this year.
