Starting midnight tonight, all Louisiana gaming floors will be closed for 14 days. Ronnie Jones, head of the state gaming board, will be signing the order to put the closure into place. According to reports, this will cause a $1.6 million loss per day, with a grand total of $22 million during the two week closure.

This closure affects 15 boats and one land-based casino in Louisiana. The only casino not closing will be Coushatta in Kinder, LA.
