[KNGT-FM] -- The award-winning Louisiana Food and Wine Festival is heading back to Lake Charles, Louisiana, for another year of food, wine, and fun. Louisiana is known for its festivals. Some of the festivals that are held in the state of Louisiana celebrate things like rice, marsh, duck, crawfish, boudin, cracklins, rabbit, and so many other things indicative of Louisiana.

Every year, the Louisiana Travel Association holds the Louey Awards. The awards are to honor and showcase individuals and organizations who have made outstanding contributions to the Louisiana tourism industry. Two years ago, the Louisiana Food and Wine Festival won the Louey Award. Pretty cool that a festival held right here in Lake Charles took home the top prize.

Matt Young with Visit Lake Charles dropped the news that the festival will be back in September 2025. He said,

The Louisiana Food & Wine Festival takes place in Lake Charles, Sept. 18-21, and if you haven’t purchased tickets to this event, let’s hope it doesn’t sell out before you do. You’ll be the first to get an authentic taste of the area’s Cajun/Creole cuisine, as well as regional flavors from other southern chefs, and wash it all down with endless pours of wine, spirits, and other libations. -Source Matt Young

The four-day festival has a ton of events going on.
