It's a stressful time in America. It's obviously a very stressful time in Louisiana.

The coronavirus pandemic apparently has us so tense in the Bayou State that the folks at WalletHub have deemed us the most stressful state in the United States.

To comprise the rankings, WalletHub compared the states across 41 key indicators of stress to determine the places to avoid and achieve a more relaxing life.

Their data ranges from average hours worked per week to personal bankruptcy rate to share of adults getting adequate sleep.

So, not all of this is related to the coronavirus.

Louisiana ranked high in many of the categories on the list.

For example, we were number two for "Money-Related Stress" and number three in "Work-Related Stress".
