Louisiana Railroad Festival Returns to DeQuincy This Weekend

The festival celebrates the town’s railroad history. DeQuincy was founded in 1897 by the Kansas City Southern Railroad. This festival has been honoring that history since 1984. Visitors can also check out the DeQuincy Railroad Museum, where they can see special exhibits and learn more about trains and the town’s past.

There is a little something for everyone during the Railroad Festival in DeQuincy. Whether you like carnival rides, live music, crafts, or food, there's all of that and so much more.

This year, the festival is headlined by the Pageant on Thursday, with gospel night on Friday Night and Geno Delafose, Casey Chesnut, and more on Saturday to round out the festival with great music.
