LSU Announces New Improvements Coming To Alex Box Stadium

The renovation project includes the construction of new Field Level Loges along both the left and right field foul lines. These loges will provide fans with an up-close and personal view of the game, adding a total of 158 seats to the stadium. Specifically, the left field area will see the addition of 52 seats, while the right field will feature 106 new seats.

A significant part of this project is the relocation of the LSU bullpen, which has traditionally been located in the right field foul territory. The bullpen will be moved beneath the right-field bleachers, providing a dedicated space for the Tigers' pitching staff. The new bullpen will feature multiple pitching lanes, enhancing the team's preparation and warm-up capabilities.

The visitor bullpen will remain in the left field foul territory but will undergo a reconfiguration to integrate seamlessly with the new premium field-level seating. It will be equipped with new protective netting to ensure the safety of players and fans. The visitor bullpen will also include two pitching lanes, allowing opposing teams to prepare adequately during games.
