The LSU Tigers baseball team just shot a cool video talking about their favorite Louisiana foods while on the field at Alex Box Stadium in Baton Rouge. The LSU baseball team of course will be the defending National Champions of College Baseball when the season gets underway on February 16th, 2024.

What makes this video you're going to watch cool is that they interview two of the players and ask them to rank their top five favorite Louisiana Foods. The video show is called In The Dirt and this was the first episode they have shot for the series.

The two players are Michael Braswell who plays shortstop for the Tigers and is from Atlanta, Georgia, and Kade Woods who is from Monroe, Louisiana. So what makes this video funny is that you have one player who doesn't know much about Louisiana foods and another who grew up eating Louisiana foods.

Check out this video and you are going to be surprised by the #1 food that Kade Woods from Monroe names. He not only says what his favorite food is but name-drops the actual restaurant in Lake Charles that has the best. Check this out.

How cool is it that even a guy from North Louisiana knows about Darrell Poboys in Lake Charles? Not only did he mention the Surf & Turf from Darrell's but another player chimed in and said he liked the Darrell's Special.

Now that we think about it, LSU came to Lake Charles a couple of months ago to play a scrimmage with McNeese so we bet that that's when they got to experience Darrell's for the first time. We bet those players are ready to come back to Lake Charles and play the McNeese Cowboys again just so they can eat at Darrell's again.
