LSU Basketball Face Michigan State Tonight In Sweet 16

The LSU Tigers basketball team have had a pretty good run in the March Madness NCAA tournament so far.  Some fans would say the teams victories were a little to close for comfort but they won none the less.

The Tigers beat Yale 79-74 in the first round and then beat Maryland 69-67 to advance to the sweet 16.

Now the team has traveled to our nations capital Washington DC for the sweet 16 tourney.

The Tigers will face #5 seeded Michigan State tonight.  The game tips off at 6:09 pm and will be televised nationally on CBS.

If the LSU wins the will face the winner of the Duke/Virginia Tech winner on Sunday with the game time still to be determined.
