LSU Falls In The Rankings In Both National Polls
The LSU Tigers football team were off this past weekend on one of their two bye weeks this season. Did not playing hurt them? Did the voters feel like other than Texas, LSU hasn't had a true test this season?
Well either way the voters were thinking they dropped the Tigers in both polls. LSU dropped from #4 to #5 in the AP Poll and from #5 to #6 in the Coaches poll.
Also their was a shake up at the top of the rankings. Clemson struggled to beat North Carolina last Saturday winning 21-20.
The voters felt like it was a sub par performance by Clemson so they dropped them from #1 in both polls to #2. Since Clemson dropped Alabama took over the #1 ranking in both major polls.
I don't know if this week will help the Tigers in the rankings either since they play Utah State from the Mountain West Conference. The game will be played in Baton Rouge with an early start of 11:00am. The game will be televised on the SEC Network.
