LSU Football #1 In College Football Playoff Rankings

The LSU Tigers got the respect they deserved last night when the latest College Football Playoff Rankings were released last night.

The LSU Tigers football team are the number one ranked team in the country after their big win of Alabama last Saturday in Tuscaloosa.  Alabama fell from #3 to #5  and now are on the outside looking in because the top four teams in the poll make it to the playoffs.

There are still three weeks left in the regular season and a lot could change.  For now the Tigers could potentially play four games before a college football playoff as they are in the drivers seat to head to the SEC championship.

The Tigers are already ranked #1 in both the AP and Coaches polls which we released Sunday afternoon.  That means LSU is the top ranked team in all three major polls.

Next up for the Tigers is a trip to Oxford, Mississippi to face Ole Miss.  The game will be televised on ESPN at 6pm this Saturday night.
