The LSU Tigers and their offense showed up big time on a national stage Saturday night when they beat Texas 45-38 and moved to 2-0 on the season.

The game was the highest-rated college football game of the season, garnering a six share, which is huge.

Quarterback Joe Burrow and the LSU offense dominated as Burrow threw for 471 yards and four touchdowns. In two games so far in the 2019 season, Burrow has thrown for 749 yards and nine touchdowns, which has sparked talks of his name being thrown into the conversation for the Heisman Trophy.

The Tigers head back to Baton Rouge this Saturday to take on Northwestern State from the Southland Conference. The game will kick off at 6:30pm and will be televised on the SEC Network.
