LSU To Play Kansas State In Texas Bowl In Houston

Alright LSU fans, here is your chance to see the Tigers play one more time before the season ends. We found out that LSU will be playing in a bowl game and for LSU fans in Southwest Louisiana, you won't have to travel very far to see your Tigers play.

LSU has accepted an invitation to play in the Texas Bowl and will face Kansas State on Tuesday, January 4th, 2022 at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas.

LSU finished the 2021 season beating Texas A&M to improve to 6-6 on the year and made them bowl eligible. The Tigers didn't play in a bowl game last season so they finally return to go bowling this year.

They will also play in the bowl game without Coach Ed Orgeron. He announced after the A&M game that if LSU were to play in a bowl game, he would not be there to coach the game. 

Since then, we have found out that LSU has hired Notre Dame's old Coach Brian Kelly to be the man to head up the Tigers football program in 2022.

Tickets for the LSU Kansas State game are now on sale and we saw that they are starting as low as $35 apiece.

The game will be at 8:00 pm that night and will be televised on ESPN.
