Mac and Cheese is the key to a fat man's heart. That gooey, cheesy goodness is just delicious. I am a picky eater when it comes to Mac and Cheese though... When I was young, my parents knew better than to buy NORMAL mac and cheese; it was a necessity to have SHELLS AND CHEESE!! JUST SOOOOOO GOOD!!!

There was recently a recall issued by the Gooder Foods and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regarding a popular brand of boxed macaroni and cheese sold throughout the Deep South.

Gooder Foods has issued a recall for certain boxed macaroni and cheese products due to the presence of undeclared allergens, which pose serious health risks. The affected products are:

  • Vegan Is Believin’ – Plant-Based White Cheddar with Spirals: May contain milk, which is not listed on the label.
  • Here Comes Truffle – Creamy Truffle-Flavored Cheddar and Shells: May contain cashews, which are not listed on the label.

These products were produced between April 7 and April 15, 2025, and distributed nationwide, including Louisiana and Texas, through major retailers such as Walmart, Target, and Whole Foods.

Individuals with allergies or severe sensitivities to milk or cashews are at risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume these products. Symptoms can range from hives and digestive issues to severe reactions such as anaphylaxis.
