The evacuation covers all areas south of the Kelso Barou Bridge on the west side of the Calcasieu Ship Channel and all areas south of the Intracoastal Waterway on the east side of the Calcasieu Ship Channel. Communities under the mandatory evacuation order include:
- Hackberry

Residents in flood-prone areas are urged to make final preparations and evacuate as soon as possible. The OHSEP is advising people with campers or travel trailers to remove them from the evacuation zones and low-lying areas that typically flood during storms.
