2nd Annual Mardi Gras Golf Classic Returns to Lake Charles May 1

Organized by Krewe De Fous Amis alongside the Buddy Russ Foundation, the tournament honors the legacy of Buddy Russ Conrad, a cherished local figure whose voice once filled the airwaves and whose strength left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. After his battle with cancer, his story became a source of inspiration, sparking a mission that continues to touch lives today.

Last year’s tournament proved just how powerful that support can be. Thanks to the players and sponsors who showed up, a $5,000 contribution was made to support the foundation’s efforts, an achievement that organizers hope to build on this year.
