Here we go, boys and girls. The biggest festival in Lake Charles is primed and ready to go for another year. The 2022 Marshland Festival is a go, and they have announced their entertainment lineup for the 2022 season.

This year's festival will be held on July 29 and 30 at the Lake Charles Civic Center. The bonus is that it is inside and air-conditioned as always. This year's line-up brings back some familiar faces but also introduces us to some new ones to the area.

Friday night's show will start us off with Sulphur's very own Casey Peveto who is a veteran of the festival. Ryan Foret and Foret Tradition also return for their second year in a row. The Zydeco Boss himself Keith Frank will make his grand return to the festival as well. Frank hasn't played in the Lake area since before covid, so it is amazing to see him back in action and on stage in Lake Charles.

The headliner for Friday night will be Texas native Creed Fisher. Fisher's style can be traced back to traditional country with influence from Hank Williams. Fisher began his music career in 2012 and has been grinding away ever since. He's climbing his way up various charts with album releases. Fisher focuses on being patriotic and from the working class because he has lived it his whole life.

Saturday at the Marshland Festival is always a fun day packed with music left and right, literally. Louisiana Express starts us off at noon while we run through some amazing entertainment. We will see Parish County Line return to the stage along with Jamie Bergeron. To cap it all off is a Marshland Festival veteran. Sony Music recording artist Tyler Booth. Booth has performed at the Marshland Festival a few times and is back to headline the festival for 2022.

Booth is featured on a Brooks and Dunn album and has opened for Brooks and Dunn, Jon Pardi, Darius Rucker, and more. His current song is out in time for Father's Day called "Hey Dad".

Go ahead and add July 29 and 30 to your calendar for the Marshland Festival and we will see you out there. Ticket sales will be announced soon and of course, we will have some to give away as we get closer and closer to the greatest festival in SWLA!
