Golden Nugget Lake Charles Adds Third Matt Mathews Show

Lake Charles, Louisiana - Southwest Louisiana comedy fans have shown up in a MASSIVE way over the last few weeks. The Golden Nugget in Lake Charles has announced that they have added a THIRD show for Matt Matthews later on this year.

Matt Mathews has become one of the biggest names in comedy thanks to his honest stories, quick humor, and Southern personality. The Alabama native first gained national attention during the pandemic with his viral “farm chore” videos, where he turned everyday life into comedy.

His previous Boujee On A Budget Tour sold more than 250,000 tickets and included shows at Nashville’s famous Ryman Auditorium, along with his first arena performance in his hometown of Birmingham.

Now, Mathews is bringing his newest tour, “Not What I Ordered,” to Lake Charles. The show focuses on the unexpected moments of life, including relationships, family, fame, farm life, and the everyday situations that do not always go according to plan.

Matt Mathews will now perform three shows inside the Golden Nugget's Grand Event Center. The shows are scheduled for November 12 at 8:30 p.m. and November 13 at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. All guests must be 21 or older.
