Country music's upcoming star, Matt Stell, will take over the Gator 99.5 Facebook page tomorrow, April 30, beginning at 5:30pm.

Stell is originally from Arkansas and got his master's degree in Communications from the University of Arkansas. He even made it into Harvard but before starting, he signed a record deal with Wide Open Music in 2014.

In the last few years, Stell has begun to make a name for himself. In 2018, he received the CMT Artist Discovery award, and his single, Prayed for You, climbed the charts to 36 in 2019. He has performed in the Opry and last year signed with Sony Music to continue the promotion of his music. At the end of last year, Stell also received the RIAA Gold Certification for his single, Prayed for You.

Now we are giving him the keys to the station's Facebook page. You can see him live as he plays songs from his newest album and entertains us all on Thursday night. The live performance will begin at 5:30pm on our Facebook Page.
