Are you a college sports fan or just ready for some live sports? Well, you are in luck as college football will be back in just a little over a week in Lake Charles as the McNeese Cowboys kick off the 2021 football season at home at Cowboy's Stadium.

The pokes will host West Florida on Saturday, September 4th at the Hole at Noon. There will be a block party concert the night before the game at the grove with the Flamethrowers live and you can attend for free.

The McNeese Athletic Department is already getting ready for another college sports season as they have released the 2021-2022 Men's basketball season schedule.

Some of the marquee games for the Cowboys in the upcoming season will be games against LSU, TCU, and Kansas State. They will open up the season at SMU and also travel to Seattle, Wyoming, and UTEP for games.

The Cowboys will play 14 games at home in conference play. Are you wondering if they will play at the Burton Coliseum or at the Legacy center?

Well, the pokes will play their first four non-conference home slate in the Burton Coliseum while The Legacy Center is being repaired due to the damage caused by hurricanes Laura and Delta. The Cowboys are anticipating being back in the arena for their January 15 conference opener against HBU.

Matt Bonnette with McNeese supplied us with the upcoming Men's Basketball schedule and here is how it shakes out this season.
