
McNeese Announces Fan Fest For August 17th
Some pretty awesome news came Friday Morning when McNeese State University announced that McNeese Athletics will be holding a Poke Nation Fan Fest on August 17 in the concourse of the Legacy Center.
Poke Nation Fan Fest offers fans the perfect opportunity to immerse themselves in the upcoming football season. Attendees will have the chance to pick up their football season tickets and parking passes. This ensures that fans are ready to support their team from the stands as the season kicks off.
One of the highlights of the event is the opportunity for fans to meet and take pictures with the Cowboy football players. This personal interaction provides a unique experience for fans to connect with the athletes they cheer for throughout the season. It’s a chance to get to know the players beyond the field and capture memorable moments with their favorite team members.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to noon. Fans can pick up their football season tickets and parking passes and meet and take pictures with the Cowboy football players.
Also in attendance will be the Cowgirl Kickers, McNeese Cheerleaders, and Rowdy.
Fans will then be encouraged to attend the Cowgirl volleyball exhibition match against LSU beginning at noon and free of admissionn. At 2:30, the Cowboys will hold an open practice in Cowboy Stadium.
McNeese will kick off its season on Saturday, August 24 at Tarleton State at 2:30 p.m. on ESPN2. The Cowboys will open up their home season on Aug. 31 against Southern.
Season tickets are still on sale by calling 337-562-4678 or online at McNeeseSports.com. Fans can also purchase at the Jack Doland Field House Ticket Office from 8-5 on weekdays.
