See Inside McNeese’s Stunning $32M Brand New Press Box

Lake Charles, Louisiana (KNGT-FM) - Football season is off and rolling, and McNeese Fans were finally able to get a glimpse of the finished press box and luxury suites last week when McNeese hosted Louisiana Christian to open up the 2025 season. We are going to give fans a good look at some photos from the new press box and some of the suites.

Personally, I might have the best view in the entire press box. I am part of the ESPN+ TV Crew, and we get to sit in the open-air box on the Media Level, which is spectacular. Here's my view from the booth from two weeks ago...

The facility is one of the biggest upgrades in years and is built to give both fans and media an unforgettable game-day experience.

The press box stretches from goal line to goal line and includes four levels. On the second level, known as the Louis Bonnette Media Level, football operations, media, and television crews have everything they need to cover the action. This floor includes a press room, two coaches’ booths, two radio booths, a statistician booth, an operations room, a film deck, and an ESPN broadcast booth.

The third and fourth floors are designed for fans who want to enjoy the game in style. These levels feature 25 luxury suites, including special suites for the university president and athletic director. There’s also a large “Nutrl Zone” where suite holders and their guests can mingle before kickoff.

This $32-million project is one of the best Press Boxes not only in the State of Louisiana, but in all of FCS Football!
