My Favorite Country Group of All Times — Alabama

Someone asked me recently who my favorite Country Group of all times would be. Although there have been several good groups in Country Music, I've got to say without hesitation, Alabama. And I just read that Alabama was named the Best Group of All Times. Hey, and why not? With 21 Gold, Platinum, and Multi-Platinum albums, 43 #1 singles, and 8 Entertainers of the Year Awards. Plus 73 million records sold. Who else even came close? The boys from Ft. Payne, Alabama started their career 40 years ago, then retired, and now getting ready to start touring again very shortly. And there's a new album in the works called Alabama and Friends. So good luck to my favorite group, Jeff Cook, Teddy Gentry, and Randy Owen as Alabama starts all over again.
